Snoring
and apnea affect large percentages of the population. Snoring
can be very stressful to relationships, and the peace of the
home. We have heard from many couples who slept in separate

Breathe
EZ was developed to help alleviate snoring and sleep apnea.
Both conditions result from the restrictions of the nasal
passages that cause the individual to breathe through the
mouth instead of the nose. Most people who snore wake with
a stuffed nose, a dry mouth, and in some cases, an irritated
throat. The obvious solution is to keep the nasal passages
open.
Breathe
EZ is a small device made of soft washable urethane material
that has been independently tested to ensure it meets FDA
standards. When clipped on the septum, as shown to the left,
it applies a small amount of pressure to stimulate nerves,
resulting in opening the nasal passages so you can breathe
through your nose.
The
noisy sounds of snoring occur when there is no free flow of
air through the passages at the back of the mouth. This area
is the collapsible part of the airway where the tongue and
upper throat meet the soft palate and uvula. Snoring occurs
when these structures strike each other and vibrate during
breathing through the mouth. If the person were breathing
through their nose, there would be no air passing these tissues
and therefore, no snoring. Try making a snoring noise with
your mouth open and then with it closed and you will see what
we are talking about.
Many
snoring remedies such as sprays don't address the real problem
associated with snoring and breathing. They just mask the
problem by coating the throat with oil so the vibrations don't
make noise for a while. Removal of the uvula is often recommended,
but it is painful and often doesn't accomplish its mission.
None of these remedies help the real problem, which is the
lack of ability to breathe through the nose. We have heard

addition to reducing or eliminating snoring, Breathe EZ has

simple cause of sleep apnea can be obstruction of the nasal
airway passages forcing the person to breathe through the
mouth. Soft tissue in the mouth can obstruct airway passage
in the throat not allowing the person to breathe. The sleeper
can awaken sometimes hundreds of times during the night due
to a blocked airway*.
Breathe
EZ normally opens the nasal passages immediately, but years
